Not coincidentally, just as the last traces of green on the ears gave way, earnest frontier exploration was now entering more advanced stages. Ever a little dangerous, deeper and decidedly more individual than your average in the producer and DJ scene, Less found his style in primal reaches. A style profound in the vastness of minimalism, seasoned with flavourful vocals, a constant step ahead of the current allowing quick changes in direction.
It progressed to the first releases on the net label Epicure Business (2005), shortly thereafter the first physical media (vinyl especially) appeared; Computer Voodoo; on the label Audiomorph. And while more is sometimes flat-out more, cooperation is tightly bound with Less’ labours; sometimes working with the American vocalist Jaezon, the fantastical Lysann aka Escalope or the ubiquitous Gunne. First out of the gate in 2007 are his remixes for Good Guy Mikesh of Leipzig to be released. So, Less is more? Not quite but close; instead how about more Less?
